The Mr. Beat Show
A mission for Representative Democracy
Hello No Cap Fans!
And welcome to all the new No Cap Fans! (There are a lot more of you now)
Well, the beat doesn’t stop, Mr. Beat that is. This week on his Mr. Beat channel, he shared the No Cap video. The response has been positively overwhelming. Since the release, over 600 people have signed the Declaration of Representation, and 15 people have signed up to volunteer!
Speaking of Mr. Beat, he is a busy man. Last week, he interviewed the future former Governor of California, Gavin Newsom. (Even Gavin knows about Congressman Mann ignoring Mr. Beat’s emails.) And of course, uncapping the house came up. Watch below for Gavin’s answer and let us know in the comments if you thought it was satisfactory for a guy who aspires to be President in a representative democracy?
And, now, more Mr. Beat. Man, is this a No Cap update or a Mr. Beat fan newsletter? A little of both, really. Mr. Beat was interviewed by the George-Anne Media Group about his campaign to reach his representative, Tracy Mann (KS-1). (It’s now been 62 days, and there has been no substantive response.) In it, he makes the case for young people to be involved in uncapping the house, noting that a larger house creates more opportunities for younger voices. The credits are rolling for the Boomers’ Era; it’s time for the next generation to write the next sequel.
At this time, I would like to thank Mr. Beat for filling my schedule with volunteer meetings and filling my inbox with declaration signers. And most importantly, I would like to thank all of you out there who have joined Mr. Beat to bang the drums about Representation. If you have emailed your rep, please share with us the response. Drop it in the comments, post on social media, or send us an email.
And if you haven’t emailed your rep, what are you waiting for? Not sure who your rep is? Click here to find out.
Thank you for reading, and be sure to share this post with a friend. Ask them to subscribe to the No Cap Mission of restoring representative democracy.
Until next week, No Cap Fans!
Peace, Love, and Representation,
Jeff Mayhugh, Future President of the Mr. Beat fan club.
